Reflections
During my Wikipedia process, I wrote about fashion on the “Furla- Candy Handbag”!
My Wikipedia Journey was not easy at all. My page was actually posted late and not posted in the correct location. So I was beyond excited about my page being up and not taking down. Not knowing that my page was not live. I was happy for nothing. I procrastinated so much with this assignment simply because I was afraid to do this assignment.
When I first started to this assignment I had mixed emotions because I already knew that it would be difficult, but when I made up my mind and decided on a topic, I became excited because it was fashion and I was interested. Then procrastination became my best friend. I honestly, did not do my page until the night before it was due simply because I did not have the time for it and I did not see the importance of the assignment. I found it very difficult for me to complete this assignment because the most challenging part was finding a topic and how much freedom people that are viewing the site have. After posting and creating my site I really do not think that my page will last long because many people may not find it interest or relevant.
Fashion lovers will love it, because it is new and the most popular. In the fashion world it is very important to keep up with the latest and you want to be the first to know what is coming out, whether it is the new fashion lines, how to wear this and that. One of my second most challenging assignments this semester, I was not even sure how to set up the page I had to continue to go back and forth and look at other people’s entries to see if I did it correctly.When asked to do this assignment, I questioned the importance of this assignment and I still do not understand why this maybe important to my college career. As I continue to work towards my college career, I continue to make progress in my writing career. I know if I thought this was challenging, it will only get more complex.
The bad part is how anyone can just delete your post no matter who they are. I believe that only creator of the page should be able to add and delete to the page.
At this point I am not sure what I could have done differently. I picked this topic because this was the first thing that I saw that was not posted on Wikipedia already. If I had chosen a completely different topic all together then my entry might have had a chance of staying up.
Lastly, I would have chosen a topic that was not of something of my own interest, but a topic that would be more interesting and beneficial. If I had to do this whole thing over again I would have chosen a completely different topic.
This assignment definitely takes time to do because you have to allot yourself enough time to edit, make changes, and possibly to see if your page will be removed from Wikipedia or not. Why does Wikipedia take things so seriously? There is several information posted on the internet that is false and not removed, the web is full of junk. Incorrect and unreliable! In my past writing experience I used to always refer to Wikipedia as reference to get information for many research papers and writing assignments until, I was told otherwise. I honestly, I would rather not use Wikipedia as a reference for a paper because, whether or the page was deleted or not does not that the information provided is true or not. Because there is so much false information, I am surprise that the whole site has not been taken down for good. Despite how much information that is false people still seem to use Wikipedia for a valuable source. This has been a quite an experience that I do not need to experience again lol, because this one I will never forget. I can honestly say that if there is something that you need to find, most likely Wikipedia will have it. A gift and a curse assignment and I hope I do not have to do again! I bet during the near future I will appreciate this assignment, Go Wikipedia…

The Proposal/ Action Plan
I changed my idea of what should I do for my Wikipedia post. I could not find anything that came to my that was already posted My ideas were all over the place. I was not confident about posting any information that was worth reading. The idea of fashion was my main idea, until I came across the Furla Candy Hand Bag. I do not own this piece of fashion as of yet, but I will soon do so.I will simply like to display pictures, show the different colors that the hand bag comes in, give insight and background of who the designer is. The price range of the hand bag, locations where the hand bags are sold, the materials that are used to make the bag, different dimension (sizes), the season of the bag, and where the hand bag originated from.
I am not sure how interested this may appear to others, but I do not have a problem with giving it a try.

Exploratory Writing For Wikipedia Entry
I did not know what to want to post on Wiki, I was torn between making a page or just doing 15 edits. I had so many ideas popping up in my head an every idea already had a post. I was afraid that someone will delete my post because someone may have not found it interesting or not. I am not familiar with using Wiki, because through out all of my English classes during my college career almost every professors have said do not use Wikipedia because it is not a reliable source.
I wonder for so many scholars to call Wikipedia not reliable why does the website still exist? I am just curious to know. is it true that Wikipedia has been around for about 11 years?
